The sleeping king of Shaolin has made an uncanny return known lately through a number of mixtape appearances. With his latest release, Flashback Memories, the song revisits a reminiscent past for the gritty, mafioso story teller we all grew to admire in the 90’s. The momentous era which is now defined as “The golden age of Hip Hop” is far fetched from today’s contemporary rap music — where lyricism and storytelling were once key, they have now been replaced with the smoked mirrors of image and “club friendly” songs. Rae promises deliver as he did when he was apart of the New York City hip hop era that reigned supreme in the early 90’s. He’s made it clear that OB4CL2 will be keeping true to his roots and going back to what he normally does with no intent on dropping “club friendly” songs to garner commercial success. Adobe Kuler is an internet application from Adobe Systems that lets people try out, create and save various color schemes. It is available in browser-hosted variants running on Adobe Flash, and in desktop versions using the Adobe AIR runtime. After downloading Switchboard from Adobe Labs, users utilizing the desktop version of Kuler can export a color scheme straight into Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

this website is amazing a friend of mine called me and put me on to this. www.kuler.adobe.com is a fantastic resource for picking the correct color pallet the site uses a word search engine to find your color based on thought process. check it out and try it out.

The New Yorkers Group Exhibition: Denmark

The group show known as The New Yorkers looks to open this Friday May 1st at the V1 Gallery in Copenhagen. The exhibition will feature a load of works from staple names in the industry, including the likes of: KAWS, Jose Parla, Futura, Ryan McGinness, Stephen Powers, and Todd James amongst many others.

The New Yorkers is an ode to the thoughts that dare stand alone in both shade and sun, and at the same time also has the courage to open up and let inspiration flow freely. The exhibition is also a unique chance to experience a rare and sublime piece of New York in Copenhagen. The New Yorkers is curated by Mikkel Grønnebæk and Todd James.
